ODISHA PRIMARY EDUCATION PROGRAMME AUTHORITY(OPEPA) has recently issued a notification for filling the 14181 posts of sikshya sahayak .
Name Of The Post: Sikshya Sahayak
Total No. Of Posts: 14181
Education Qualification:
Category I :
1.Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Edcuation (CT).
OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalnet) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Edcuation/2 year Diploma in Special Educaiton.
AND
2.Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET Category I).
3.Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class-VII or pass on Odia language test equivalent to ME standards conducted or declared equivalent by BSE(O).
Category II :
1.Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Educaiton).
OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
AND
2.Pass in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET-Category II).
3.Candidates must have Odia as MIL up to class-X.
Category I :

Age Limit:
Candidates shall not be below 18 years of age and above 35 years of age. In case of SC/ST/Women, Ex-Servicemen & SEBC candidates the upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years and incase of PH candidates the upper age limit may be relaxed by 10 years.
